NSW severe weather warning

The Bureau of Meteorology and emergency services have issued a severe weather alert for NSW, with heavy rain, damaging winds, and hazardous surf expected from Tuesday 1 July through Thursday 3 July.

To help safeguard your property and ensure everyone’s well-being, here are a few important precautions to take:

• Secure all outdoor furniture and loose items on balconies or in common areas.
• Clear drains and gutters to prevent blockages and reduce the risk of flooding.
• Close and seal all windows and doors to protect against wind and water.
• Limit travel during peak storm conditions and stay updated via official sources.
• Check in on neighbours, especially those who are elderly or vulnerable, and ensure your emergency contact details are current.
