The BCCM Commissioner’s Office has introduced self-resolution forms designed to help owners and occupiers attempt to resolve issues directly before lodging an application for formal dispute resolution. While the use of these forms is not mandatory, they provide clear evidence that self-resolution has been attempted – a requirement before the BCCM Office will consider a dispute application.
BCCM Form 36 – Motion to the Body Corporate
Used by owners to submit a motion for decision by the body corporate of committee
BCCM Form 37a – Self‑Resolution with an Owner/Occupier
Used by one owner/occupier to address an issue with another owner and/or occupier
BCCM Form 37b – Self‑Resolution with the Body Corporate
Used when an owner/occupier believes the body corporate / committee has breached legislation.
The Forms can be found on the BCCM website by clicking here.
