We have introduced the beginning of a broader initiative to modernise strata record-keeping—one step at a time.
As your strata managing agent, we understand that every community has unique circumstances, and not all buildings or states are in the same place when it comes to digitisation. That’s why we’re launching this project in a flexible way, starting with schemes where it’s currently possible or practical to do so.
The goal? To preserve important historical records, streamline access for committees and owners, reduce reliance on physical storage, and support more environmentally conscious practices.
Where available, the digitisation of archive records will offer benefits such as:
-
- Easier access – Searchable, online records will be available via StrataMax for those with appropriate permissions.
-
- Simplified storage – Moving away from physical boxes means less clutter and easier management.
-
- A lighter footprint – Cutting down on paper helps us move toward more sustainable communities.
-
- Improved protection – Digital files are backed up and better protected against damage or loss.
-
- Future readiness – Some states have already updated their record-keeping rules—this project helps prepare your scheme for what’s next.
This is the first step in a wider journey toward smarter strata living, and we’re excited to support our clients through the transition, where and when it’s possible.
